March 12th marked the feast day of our eponymous patron. Families and friends of the Gregory the Great Academy gathered around the image of St. Gregory the Great hanging in the refectory; bread was broken, songs were sung, toasts were made. Mr. Fitzpatrick made the humorous connection between St. Gregorys’ affection for the homeless while he lived and his boundless intercession for our school. Despite the impermanence of our location, we carry on our duties with confidence in his continuous care for our needs. A day that began with Divine Liturgy, concluded again in the chapel, with the students leading Compline and night prayer. St. Gregory the Great, pray for us!
